JNF NSW Corporate Forum membership currently stands at 80 members. It is made up of high level business and professional people from a wide section of the Sydney community. Generally, they are in the 35-55 year age group, with firms ranging from 5 - 400 employees in the areas of real estate development, retail, finance, legal practice, manufacturing and international trade. Through the JNF Environment Gift Fund, members each make an annual contribution through the Corporate Forum towards selected environmental projects in Israel. This amount is tax-deductible. During the year, 5-6 breakfast or luncheon functions are held with high profile guest speakers. Typical of these have been Graeme Samuel AO, Chairman of ACCC, David Gonski AO AC, Gail Kelly CEO and Managing Director St George Bank, HE Yuval Rotem Ambassador for Israel, Professor David Celermajer (Medicine, Sydney University) and Dr Frank Gelber (Chief Economist, BIS Shrapnel). Members also pay an additional amount (plus GST) per year towards the cost of these functions. The objective is at all times to present topics and speakers of relevance to today's business conditions and requirements, and on a more in-depth and informal level than might ordinarily be available.
